I work hard for the job i love.
Hello everyone, my name is Johnny Terasaka and welcome to my website! I am a content creator that specialize in promoting Japanese culture and entertainment to the United States of America.
After graduating from university, I worked in Sankei International Trade Department (trade company), and worked in Hong Kong and Shanghai in 1990-1999 for a fashion design company. Realizing my strive to produce entertainment content I traveled to the United States in 1999 and worked as a General Manager at Asahi Homecast Corporation. In 2003 I transferred to United Television Broadcasting Systems (UTB). During that time we held multiple sponsored / hosted events that span a number of different areas (seminar, variety, J-Pop etc) working with companies such as: Johnny’s Entertainment, Yoshimoto Kogyo, Japan House.
With the start of digital broadcasting in the United States in 2009, UTB was the only US-Japanese bilingual terrestrial broadcaster established throughout Southern California. In recent years, I produced a Nikkei history documentary film trilogy that won the Fumiko Yamaji Cultural Award Winner with "Toyo's Camera-Japanese American History during WWII-", "442-Live with Honor, Die with Dignity-", and “MIS-Human Secret Weapon-". Afterwards I produced a Japanese food documentary film called “WA-SHOKU – Beyond Sushi”.
In 2013 I was promoted to president of UTB. In January 2016, I moved on to become the Assistant to President of Foreign Ministry's Foreign Policy Division “JAPAN HOUSE – Los Angles-“ project. Moving on to the present day I have started my own television broadcasting company called the Japan Hollywood Network. I have also started my own fashion brand “ X ♥ 3 ,, which has always been a dream of mine. With my time available I have also started to cast in multiple music videos and movies as an actor role. Please make sure to also check out my events page to see the amazing events I have produced.
